Master tempo
4/4One tempo for the whole page — the metronome, the drums below and the chord player all follow this BPM, live, even mid-song.
Drum machine
Eleven grooves · 100 BPMThree transport buttons, each one a toggle: Play drums runs the selected style on its own, Play chords (in the chord card below) runs the progression on its own, and Play all runs both together — staying on the selected style, no rotation. While a part is playing its button reads Stop. Starts and stops land on the downbeat, so the beat and the chords never drift apart.
Tap a style to play it — tap the playing style again to step through Simple, Groovy and Full.
Chord progressions
Roman numeralsRoman numerals in the key above — I, V, vi, ii7. Preset buttons show numerals only, and picking one never changes the key: the progression bar above fills with the actual chords playing, in the key selected above. Tap any chord chip to hear it on its own. Hit Play chords while the beat is running and the chords join on the next downbeat. Pick a new progression — a preset, a new key, or typing — while it's playing and the new chords swap in on the next downbeat; playback keeps going.
Musician mixer
Volume & touchTouch sets how busy each player gets: the drums step through their Simple, Groovy and Full patterns, the bass goes from holding the root to pumping quarters to a walking line, and the chords from one pad per chord to a strum every beat to arpeggios. Everything times off one shared grid: arpeggios land on the playing groove's own steps — triplets over the shuffle, blues and jazz grooves — so the drums, bass and chords hit together.
